Christine Williams has been a writer since she was 9 years old, writing poetry, magazine articles and short stories. ‘Charity Begins’ is her first, full length, novel and the sequel ‘For Love and Charity’ is on the way.

For several years Christine worked as an Area Manager with national and local charities, managing chains of fund-raising shops. Colleagues often said that someone should write a book about this hidden world, especially when something stranger-than-fiction happened, whether comic, disastrous or just plain daft - which was often! Christine determined that she would do so as soon as her hectic life permitted her the time. This book, and the sequel, is the result.
